Lincad’s range of heavy-duty rugged military chargers has been designed to meet a variety of battery management needs and power solutions.
Our chargers have predominantly been used within the military/defence sector but in more recent years we have developed chargers for commercial applications. Lincad’s chargers and conditioners can be used with any battery type ranging from 3-58V, regardless of battery manufacturer.
The Fleet 2812 is a compact, lightweight 28V DC, 1200 W power supply designed to run from universal AC mains. Rugged and versatile, it satisfies front line military operating requirements for equipment requiring a 28V DC input.
Originally designed for the BPMS Mk2 which has its own internal charger, the Fleet 2812 does not have the current control for charging a battery directly.
A compact, lightweight 29V DC, 500W lithium-ion battery charger, designed to run from a universal AC mains supply. The charger is designed to be rugged and versatile enough to satisfy frontline military operating requirements.
Can be used for a wide range of 24V lithium-ion battery types. It can be supplied with a range of input cable lengths and BIAs, allowing it to be easily adapted for various operating scenarios and charging applications.
The SquadNet Multi-Channel Charging Conditioner is a 12-channel charger designed specifically for Thales’ SquadNet radio batteries. The batteries lock into the charger using the same mechanism as they lock onto the radios. Charging is fully automatic, with LED indicators providing state of charge information.
Whilst the SquadNet battery can be charged on the radio via USB, the SquadNet Charger allows charging of multiple batteries separately from the radio. This eliminates radio downtime during the battery charging process.
The Caravel Mk2 is Lincad’s first multi-chemistry charger and incorporates the very latest in battery charger technology and design. It offers charging of lithium-ion (Li-ion) and other battery types from any original equipment manufacturer via battery interface adaptors (BIAs).
It features a transport mode to prepare Li-ion batteries to less than 30% state of charge for air transport in line with IATA regulations, and a storage mode to prepare Li-ion batteries to 50% state of charge for long-term storage. It also includes twin USB ports for charging mobile devices.
The Four Channel Caravel Mk2 maintains the full functionality of the Caravel Mk2 whilst allowing charging and discharging of up to four batteries at once.
Each channel works completely independently to allow the efficient management of a mixed battery fleet. The Four Channel Caravel Mk2 offers faster charging and discharging compared to the Armada charger/conditioner.
The Armada is a six-channel multi-chemistry charger/conditioner designed for the state of charge management of lithium-ion (Li-ion) and other battery types from any original equipment manufacturer. It is an efficient fleet management tool for anyone involved in the transport and storage of batteries.
Designed for absolute simplicity of operation, each channel features a transport mode to prepare Li-ion batteries to less than 30% state of charge for air transport in line with IATA regulations, and a storage mode to prepare Li-ion batteries to 50% state of charge for long-term storage. State of charge information for each channel is provided by an LED indicator display.
The Caravel was developed for the first LIPS batteries in 2000, and is compatible with Lincad’s current range of LIPS products.
The Caravel has now been superseded by the Caravel Mk2.
The LIPS DC Vehicle Charger charges a range of LIPS batteries simultaneously from a DC output socket on a vehicle. It can be mounted into vehicles using a dedicated mounting bracket.
LIPS batteries simply click into place and charging is initiated through a toggle switch. The charger provides flexibility when no AC source is available, allowing charging in a moving or stationary vehicle.
The Point of Sale (PoS) Multi-Dock Charger is a 20-channel charger for the batteries that power industry-leading PAX A920 and PAX A920 PRO PoS terminals used for mobile payments.
PoS terminals are used across the world in the hospitality, retail, transport, and delivery sectors. Whilst PAX A920 and PAX A920 PRO batteries can be charged on the PoS terminals, the PoS Multi-Dock Charger allows charging of multiple batteries separately from the device. This eliminates PoS terminal downtime during the battery charging process, improving the efficiency of mobile payment operations.
The Storm Charger is a five-channel charger designed specifically for charging up to five Storm twist-lock batteries.
The charger is designed for ease of use with battery charging automatically initiated on connection of a battery to any channel with no user input required. State of charge information for each channel is provided by an LED indicator display.
The Soundranger Charger is a two-channel charger designed specifically for charging up to two Soundranger lead-acid batteries.
The charger contains integrated charging cables. Charge current is shown on an LCD display and charge completion is indicated via LEDs.
