Portable Power System

Lincad’s Portable Power System is a battery energy storage solution with an integrated charger and DC-AC converter, providing a supply for a range of mains powered equipment when an AC mains power source is not available. It provides a flexible and reliable 230V, 50Hz AC power source for mobile mains requirements.

The power system can be mounted on a trolley or castors for simple manoeuvrability and can be moved to a mains power source for recharging when not in use. Originally designed for powering equipment on a mobile railway information desk, it can be employed across a range of similar applications where a substitute for static mains power is required. The system is ruggedised and suitable for use in any sheltered environment.

Power to connected equipment is via a standard UK BS1363 socket with residual current device (RCD) protection. Designed for simplicity of operation, controls and indicators are minimal and located on the front face of the equipment. The integrated chargers allows the system to easily be charged by connection to the mains via the charging interface located on the side face of the case.
